Sine I moved here in 1994, this is some of what has been done. New free-layed brick front and back sidewalks and patio, all windows either replaced with new construction Lincoln windows or new thermo-pane glass installed, all outside entry doors replaced, house resided with vinyl and roof realignment completed in 2012 at cost of $12,000, driveway and garage floor replaced in 2008 at cost of $7000, entire back yard fenced in 1994 and replaced with vinyl in 2011 at cost of almost $10,000, house hardwired for cable and internet in most rooms, every room in the house has been extensively remodeled including all 3 bathrooms, in 2015 the kitchen was gutted and completely remodeled to include granite counters, power upgrades and new built-in appliances, the room off the kitchen remodeled at same time and could be used as a 4th bedroom, new Trane furnace and central air installed in 2006 at cost of $7100, new 40-gal water heater in 2003, shed in backyard in 2000, all carpet in the house was removed and oak floors refinished, only family room and laundry still have carpet, original dining room converted to a home office but can easily go back, extensive "low-maintenance" landscaping using stone mulch. In 2015 I gutted the kitchen and completely remodeled it including leveling the floor, new Kraftmaid cabinets, new stainless appliances, vinyl Allure Ultra plank flooring, LED ceiling and under cabinet lighting, added exterior vent for range hood, updated electrical and plumbing, filtered water in wet bar sink and more. The adjacent room, formerly the study was also totally renovated and could be used as a 4th bedroom. On August 18, 2021 the roof was replaced by Miller Roofing at a cost of $9500. It wasn't leaking, just 20 years old. It was a total tear-off and 40-year dimensional shingles put on. In September of 2021, both chimneys were tuck-pointed, got new crowns and chimney caps at a total cost of $2200. On April 6, 2023 a 22kW Generac Whole House generator was installed. The install included an automatic transfer switch, whole house surge protector and a new 30 position Siemens Power PaneL. Total project cost was $13,100.
