It is one block from lovely South Pointe Park that borders the cruise ship channel, at which you can picnic with wine, watch the sunset, and wave at the passengers on deck as they sail out. There is a bike and pedestrian path that goes right by the building, around the foot of the island, and then up all the way north along the beach. We enjoy a quiet and traffic congestion free neighborhood, just outside the hustle and bustle of the rest of South Beach. The beach and loads of wonderful restaurants are within a 5 minute walk. It is only a short way up Alton Road to the Lincoln Road Mall, with all of its restaurants and stores. The Yacht Club has a beautiful large pool and tennis court overlooking the marina and the bay.
