Large Furnished Master Bedroom Suite for Rent in a Stunning Victorian Row House (Washington, D.C.)
This is your opportunity to live in a thoughtfully maintained historic row house in the heart of D.C. bordering Crispus Attucks Park in Bloomingdale. This is NOT your average rental; it's a well-loved, tastefully decorated, comfortable, meticulously clean, move-in-ready spot. It's a space that people often describe as "one of the most beautiful homes they've visited." Previously owned by an architect who restored and preserved all the unique and historic details of the home, the current homeowners then paired that charm seamlessly with tasteful and lush furnishings. Imagine lounging in the movie room, sipping a coffee or wine on the roof top deck, and strolling in the adjacent park to take the edge off your day! Having temporarily relocated abroad, the homeowners are offering the spacious master suite room for rent- on its own floor- providing comfort and plenty of privacy. The home will be shared with one other roommate- a young female professional- who is renting the third-floor bed and bathroom of this grand house.
**Master Suite (Second Floor - Black bed frame and jute rug in photos)**
This large, sunny master suite has two closets (one walk-in) and a large on-suite bathroom with a jacuzzi tub and separate shower. The room also includes a mini office space in the window bump-out area with a desk and a chair. A TV and leather lounge chair bring added comfort the suite. Three large south-facing windows provide plenty of natural light with both curtains and blinds for privacy.
**Shared Spaces**
Movie & Lounge Room (Second Floor): This cozy space is outfitted with a large TV, a single day bed, a desk, and (we're biased) the best jungle wallpaper!
Study & Rooftop Balcony (Third Floor): This room features bookshelves and a desk, perfect for work or quiet time. It connects to a top-floor balcony with beautiful views of Crispus Attucks Park. The balcony includes lights, built-in speakers, and is available for use.
Kitchen, Dining Room, and Living Room (First Floor):
The kitchen is fully equipped with an island, two ovens, a gas cooktop, dishwasher, refrigerator, microwave, and plenty of cooking gadgets (air fryer, Instant Pot, blender, etc.). You'll also find full dishware, flatware, and wine glasses. The kitchen opens up to a plant-filled sunroom, a large living room, and dining room all tastefully decorated and perfect for relaxing or spending time with others.
Backyard:
The house has a stylish, newly designed, backyard space that backs directly onto the park.
