Within half a mile are several restaurants, including Mexican, Indian, a deli, Lebanese, Italian, pizza, donuts, and Subway. Just over a mile away is an entire strip of other restaurants. A convenience store is three blocks away and stocks alcohol, groceries, and necessities. Full supermarket is just over one mile away, right across the street from the weekly farmers market and just next to a bowling alley. Located a mile from the bike path that extends from Malibu down to Redondo Beach. Ride your bike, walk, or rollerblade north to Fisherman's Village in Marina del Rey for waterfront dining (and the location of many scenes of "Arrested Development"). In the marina, you can rent standup paddleboards and kayaks. Just slightly further north is Venice and Santa Monica, home of the world-famous pier with rides and carnival games. Head south to El Segundo and its quaint main street and silent movie theater, the volleyball mecca of Manhattan Beach, Hermosa Beach, and Redondo Beach.
