Located in Easley, SC: 10 to 15 minutes to downtown Greenville, but with lower Property Taxes in Pickens County. The Master Suite is located on the 1st floor. The Mother-in-law suite is also on the first floor with handicap bathroom and easy walk in from the back. *SEE Photos of Floor Plan* Major items completed: All the original knob & tub wiring was removed and totally replaced, plus coaxial (flexible aluminum covered wiring) on 2nd floor including the attics. Plumbing replaced from the street throughout the house. Both bathrooms on the 1st floor were totally remodeled. The living & dining rooms and library were gutted, returning the ceilings to there original 12 foot height. CLOSED CELL spray foam insulation was added to the walls & ceilings. The downstairs master suite was created by taking the old bathroom and turning it into a walk-in closet. The unused hall is now the master bath, with a lg. jetted tub, matching toilet & bidet & a leaded glass "transom" over the double vanity. The heart Pine floors in the DR, LR, Library and Master Bath were refinished in a high gloss finish and the two bedrooms down were carpeted. 2011 - The Mother-in-law ensuite on main level was created with new windows & a handicapped shower with pull down seat in the bathroom in order to care for my mother-in-law who had Alzheimer's. The brick work & column bases in the front were replaced. Plus the captivating wrap around porch & support beams were totally rebuilt about 10 years ago. The kitchen was renovated with cherry cabinets. The wall separating the butler's pantry from the kitchen was removed to create more open concept living space. The original wood counters and glass door cabinets were retained from the Butler's pantry. 2012-3: The kitchen was upgraded with stainless / black appliances - smooth top range, dishwasher, programable microwave & LVT flooring. STORAGE: workshop attached to garage - plus the original maid's Tiny House would make a great "She Shed".
