The walk-score is car dependent but, it is only a couple miles to the middle school, we walk it all the time. And, the walk to the grocery store (which would also be the nearest bus stop) is a little shorter than that. There is also a great park (Kanapaha/Veteran's Park) not far away down Tower Road, as well as the Tower Road branch of the public library, and the SW YMCA is just up Archer Road (you can bike).
