Built in 1925, this Colonial Revival home was designed by J. Sarsfield Kennedy, a prominent early 20th Century Brooklyn architect who also designed the Prospect Park Picnic House and the "Gingerbread House" in Bay Ridge. A complete top-to-bottom renovation in 2015-2016 restored the house to include many circa 1920s details and finishes while incorporating modern upgrades including new electrical, plumbing, three zone AC, and gut-renovated kitchen and bathrooms. Almost all of the original details are restored or reproduced including herringbone parquet wood floors throughout the main and second floors, wainscoting, custom door and window casings, crown molding, plaster ceiling details, and original stained glass windows.
