Walking distance to restaurants and one direct bus to downtown. APARTMENT FEATURES: - $150 Flat rate for all utilities, WIFI, and basic cable. - Furnishings & kitchen utensils provided. - Room has a Queen mattress & bed. - Apartment complex has a beautiful swimming pool. ABOUT ME: I was the Community Director of the Hedonisia Hawaii EcoFeminist Community for 14 years. In 2018, the Kilauea volcano eruption destroyed Hedonisia. I moved to Portland where I manage our community web projects and plans to continue the long process of rebuilding on my 4-acre property. Normally, this is a two-bedroom apartment. However, I leave for long periods every year to rebuild my community in Hawaii. When I'm gone, and my room is locked, it is a spacious 1-bedroom furnished apartment. Once I have an approved candidate there might be a small period of overlap as I prepare to leave. There are two rental prices: - If I'm in the apartment in an overlap period, the rent is reduced by $20 a night for every shared night. - When I'm traveling the rent is $1015 per month and $150 in utilities. We want to make sure that applicants have read our ad and not just a default inquiry. - Month to month lease. - Looking for a single person or couple who wish to stay for six months or longer. - All utilities, WiFi, cable and apartment swimming pool included in $150 a month flat rate. - The rental is under a Temporary Occupant Agreement. As the long term, leaseholder, I am responsible for enforcing the apartment rules. So I am looking for a great single person or couple who will treat this wonderful apartment with the respect of their home. - Under the law, I will be the official tenant. I will be traveling for long periods to Canada, Europe and Hawaii over the year. However, I will be stopping by as the tenant in the apartment to get supplies in my room. - For any night that I stay in my room, I will automatically reduce the rent by $20 a night. This is why I want someone who I can get along with. Someone who is friendly and doesn't mind when I come by to visit.
