The location is great for public transportation as it's only 1 block to the bus which takes you directly to the Orange Line. It's also close to several schools and churches. One block away is Hale Park which is a huge beautiful park that is a host to many functions throughout the year. Hale Park also has a very nice public swimming pool, including a kiddie area. CPS's Hale elementary school is also located here. The CPS highschool, Kennedy, is just a few more blocks away. For private schools, there is St. Syms and St. Rene's.
