Located at the end of a cul-de-sac, this Lake Tahoe dog friendly rental cabin has a hot tub on the back deck facing the forest and has real Tahoe ambiance. The vacation rental home features a newer sunny deck with built in benches, secluded setting (end of cul-de-sac and the home backs up to forest), brand new kitchen and newly remodeled bathrooms. There is a badminton court and horseshoes in the summer and a great snow play area for kids in the winter. The upstairs bedroom is great for kids with two bunk sets, twin bed, and a TV with DVD. The dog friendly beach, Watermans Landing, is located about 1 mile away, great hiking and biking trails from the cabin including the Tahoe Rim Trail. In the winter, there is only parking for two to three cars. There is additional parking, with notice, available at Agate Bay Realty. $1500.00 non-refundable deposit will be necessary to secure the house (due up front). The $1500.00 deposit will be applicable to the first months rent. The $3000 will be refundable at the end of the lease provided there isn't any damage or extra cleaning. A four month ski lease will have 3 free housekeeping visits. Each visit is a total of two man hours of cleaning and will help keep the kitchen, bathrooms, and house maintained during the lease. $300 a month total for the fixed utilities. This $300 a month pays for the water, trash, cable tv, and high speed internet service. A four month lease would have a total of $1200.00 (4 x $300) for the fixed utilities. The gas and electric will be switched into the tenants name at the start of the lease. The bills will be sent directly to the tenant. Frozen pipes will be the responsibility of the tenants if the thermostat was left lower than 55 degrees or turned off. There will be a $200 service fee charged by Agate Bay Realty if utilities are not transferred into the tenants name when the lease takes effect. We will send multiple reminders. $800 for driveway snow removal. Half the rent is due 60 days prior to arrival (November 2, 2026) and the other half is due prior to move in (by January 2, 2027). Homes with hot tubs will have the tenant/s take over the hot tub contract. The costs are approximately a $250.00-$350.00 service fee per month and that includes a few services a month. Costs are higher if the water needs to be changed more frequently due to not showing prior to use, etc.. The homeowner will pay for the dump and scrub of the hot tub just prior to lease beginning and the tenant will pay for a dump and scrub at the end of the lease.
