Join us in our beautiful, light, Highpoint townhouse. Private room with full bath on third floor includes full bed and small desk. Shared space on the second floor includes kitchen with gas stove, living room with large TV and fireplace, and sunroom which we use as shared office space and for reading, relaxing, and napping. WiFi and utilities are included in the rent. Parking is on the street and is generally easy to find. High Point is a planned, mixed-income community with emphasis on environmental stewardship, with 20+ acres of open space. West Seattle is full of parks and trails, and Lincoln Park and beaches are within walking distance. We're near Longfellow Creek Natural Area, South Seattle Community College, Seattle Parks Southwest Pool, and several fitness centers. Less than two blocks away are the High Point Seattle Public Library, the QED cafe, two community gardens, a community center, and bus lines to Seattle, UW, and elsewhere. We keep a garden patch where we grow tomatoes, greens, squashes, and herbs. Whole Foods, Trader Joe's, QFC, Safeway, restaurants, and other services are within walking distance. Who we are: Joseph: writer, futurist, strategy board gamer, retired techie. Terri: nurse, massage therapist, gardener. Charity: software developer interested in community-based agriculture. We have varied personal interests and a shared focus on living healthy lives. We're avid urban walkers and explorers, primarily in West Seattle with its views of Puget Sound, its many lush gardens, and our own leafy neighborhood. We are all vaxxed, boosted, and careful about Covid. We try to keep our home friendly, uncluttered, artsy, and clean. We try to be flexible and considerate of each other. We enjoy good company and conversation, but no heavy drinking or drugs. We appreciate that High Point can be a quiet neighborhood.
