Gulf Island Tennis & Beach Club Condos sitting on the Gulf of Mexico, is truly paradise! It's like a "mini resort" with countless palm trees swaying in the sea breeze surrounded by water, full of Dolphins, Manatees, Ospreys, and Pelicans. The sunsets are absolutely beautiful!! If you want to relax, you don't have to go anywhere, but if you want beaches, they're everywhere with Clearwater Beach just being 28 miles south. Once you're here, tho, you're going to find this little island to be the perfect staycation. You can hear music from a nearby restaurant on Friday and Saturday evenings while sitting on your back balcony. There's a beautiful lagoon (kyacking anyone?) with a private beach surrounded by a serene nature trail where you can walk or even fish along the Gulf of Mexico. Or enjoy the gorgeous heated olympic size swimming pool (just below your room). The rec center is also just steps away full of games, pool tables, ping pong, piano and then there's a fitness center that overlooks the Gulf of Mexico. So while you're using the treadmill you can watch the dolphins play. Oh, and not to forget the community activities ie exercise classes, dances, lectures etc. Then outside there are plenty of tennis courts, hence our name: "Gulf Island Tennis & Beach Club. This place makes it easy to stay in shape. The social atmosphere is welcoming. People are friendly and always looking for participants to play pickleball or tennis. The people come from all around the world but there are also many residents that make their home here. We residents are proud of our little paradise and want our home to be clean, safe and stay beautiful. Sometimes special parties are scheduled in the community room or in beach area. They have educational speakers, at times, book clubs and many more activities. Forgot your fishing rods? No worries! We have several you can use, along with tennis and pickleball rackets, and even a pool stick. Tennis/Pickleball courts are right outside the front door. But most importantly, you'll feel safe as we have a security gate with guards where everyone must be authorized to enter. The island has many video cameras inside and out to ensure all is safe and sound. The landscape is manicured, clean, secured and well maintained, just like an oasis. This rental unit has two bedrooms with queen size beds (with the master suite having a slider to a walkout back balcony) and two bath/showers. It comes equipped with all the kitchen supplies, towels, pretty much like a hotel, but with a fully functional kitchen with an above stove microwave, dishwasher and garbage disposal. It's been updated with granite tops in kitchen and mostly open floor plan There is a nice size living room (also with slider to outside back balcony) with 2 recliners, a couch and a large "50" flat screen TV, with cable and WiFi. A dining table with 2 chairs is just off the kitchen and plenty of closet space. Imagine sipping wine on the back balcony or front balcony in the beautiful Florida weather watching the sun set. Please note: This condo is new on the rental market and therefore has no reviews yet. But you won't be disappointed! It's gorgeous, fun and relaxing. WiFi, cable internet, garbage, gated security, garage parking and water all included. Electric bills on average is $80. No inside smoking. Small pets allowed with non refundable $50 fee.
