*Please don’t just show up unannounced. There are tenants in the house right now, please text for showing* *********************************** Standard, run of the mill 1996 doublewide mobile home with 9.98 acres. Mostly wooded with large beautiful trees. Very private, you can’t see the house from the road, so you’re free to do whatever you want to. There is plenty of room for raising chickens and other animals, n*de sunbathing, or partying like it’s 1999. Not bad condition for a 26 year old trailer. The roof doesn’t leak and all the walls are still standing. We pulled the carpet up a couple of years ago. Because 20 year old carpet smells. We put laminate flooring in the living room and master bedroom. The 2 spare bedrooms also have newish laminate floors, just a different color and texture. The whole place could use a fresh coat of paint or wallpaper or stenciling or whatever you’re in to. The original kitchen cabinets and appliances were stolen by a previous tenant, so all the appliances were new as of 5 years ago. The kitchen cabinets and countertops were an upgrade from the cardboard cabinets that were there. There is the original vinyl flooring in the laundry, kitchen and master and spare bathrooms. It has age appropriate dents, cuts and stains from I don’t even know what. Both bathrooms have shower/tub combos and extremely plain vanities. The kind you get in a box at Home Depot. The living room has a working fireplace, but has not been in use in years. The AC blows cold and the heat pump blows hot. There was a skylight in the kitchen at one time. Well, it’s still there, just covered by plywood and shingles to keep out the rain. The kitchen and dining room has light fixtures that were a good idea at the time, but you will probably want to change them. The appliances are basic and black. Except for the standing freezer which is white. Nothing spray paint can’t fix. The living room and master bedroom lights have been changed to ceiling fans with lights. There’s a sliding glass door in the dining room that leads to the back deck. But if you want to get to the deck, you have to go out the front door and around the house because the sliding glass door doesn’t slide anymore. And it gets sweaty when it rains, because the inside double pane glass has been broken for years and years. The driveway has some pretty spectacular potholes in it. It could use a load or 20 of gravel every year. The ground is basically clay. Good luck growing anything out here. 5 miles to the nearest farmer’s market though. There’s a couple of screens for some of the windows, the others have been MIA for some years now. There’s also a building that was built by a previous tenant without asking permission. There are windows, but no doors. It’s very sad to look at, but it serves the purpose of storing stuff, tools, cars, whatever in it. Several lean tos were built onto the building on several sides. The house is brick underpinned. Not exactly sure what that means, but it is. There is a buttload of deer that run through the property. You can spend all day outside listening to the birds sing. At night, the bats come out and do their thing. Never once been bitten or seen a vampire out here, so we leave them alone and they leave us alone. It’s very quiet and peaceful, which is exactly what you would expect here in the middle of nowhere. This property is smack dab in the middle of what I call the 3 corners. 20 minutes to Monroe, Marshville, or Pageland. If you’ve gone this far and still are interested, please text me with any questions you have or offers you want to make. I will be posting pictures soon. Realtors, please don’t text or call me. When I am ready for an agent, I will let you know. Otherwise I will be quite rude when you text me asking if I want to hire you to sell my house.
