This apartment is on the 11th floor with a beautiful city view, watched the sunset today over the city the other day... Here are some of the many other cool aspects of living in this building: Cats are allowed, new windows put in, free gas and heating, a lot of hot water have never run out (great for showers and baths), very friendly doormen and responsive building manager, parking garage ($180/month), fitness center in building, coin laundry in building, walls and ceilings are thick cement so you can't hear a [removed] thing, beautiful city view, cheap electric bill ($20-$40), beautiful foyer at the entrance. The tenants are really nice and polite, not at all rowdy or dramatic. Oh, it's also ACROSS THE STREET from the lakefront and beaches, I can't tell you how important it has been for me to be this close to the beach. I've taken up jogging and regularly go for walks. Literally 2 beaches a block away. Bryn Mawr avenue is like a quaint town in between Sheridan and Broadway. It has EVERYTHING. It has food from all over the world... Indian, Mexican, Middle Eastern, Vietnamese, high end Italian and Nookie's which is an amazing diner. There's also a neighborhood grocery store, a gym, yoga studio and Crossfit box and 1 block from the red line. ALL WITHIN 1 BLOCK It's been the most amazing experiencing exploring this part of town. I have lived all over Chicago and without exaggerating this has been my favorite place so far. It makes such a difference to live by the lake! If I wasn't moving out of the city I would for sure stay. Remember, it's a studio, what you see is what you get! Of course you would have to sign a new lease and pass the buildings application process, I won't be the one approving you. So that's it, I love this building and its super affordable for what you get. I don't think this apartment will be on the market long. Email is best if you have any questions... good luck!
