It is a two minute walk from multiple bus stops that take you to campus and is only a ten minute ride. It's only a 20 minute bike ride and 35 minute walk. The current roommate is a woman in her early 20s who goes to UW. She's quiet, clean, and friendly. The apartment is very spacious with a large kitchen which includes a dishwasher, w/d in unit, large living/dining room, and a fireplace. There is one full bathroom. The bedroom is very large. It was large enough to fit my full size bed with a chill chair space. The apartment building is secure access and though it is only 3 stories has an elevator. Parking is available just outside the building and there is plenty of parking on the street. You would be replacing me on the lease and the lease is through July 31st. Rent is 647.50/mo which includes w/s/g. Internet and electricity are separate. Move in costs are a deposit of 200 plus last months rent of 620. Deposit is fully refundable upon move out if no damage is done and the place is clean. Month of January is free. First months rent is due February 1st.
