We are looking for mature renters who can take good care of our house and furnishings. A five-minute drive from the campus, the house is also near Fortune's Rocks beach and only 15 minutes from shopping in downtown Bideford, and from Interstate 95. The road is quiet at our end of West St, and our neighbors are nice. There is a large driveway and yard; a deck for dining, an outdoor shower, gardens, and a beautiful view of the Mustang Ranch next door. Heating and cooling are provided by modern heat pumps, but we also have a gas furnace for backup in the coldest months, and a pellet stove for that cozy warmth. Filtered water comes from a well. House amenities include a television, a clothes washer, a clothes dryer, a dishwasher, and a piano. The RENTAL TERM is for the SCHOOL YEAR (9 months, September 1-May 31), though move-in may be available slightly earlier. Rent is paid monthly on the first of the month. One month's rent is required as a security deposit. Heating and cooling are provided by modern heat pumps, but we also have a propane furnace for backup in the coldest months, and a pellet stove for that cozy warmth. Electric and propane bills are the responsibility of renters. Spectrum Internet comes with the house and costs about $80/month, but renters may get their own internet/cable instead. There is a $150/month Property Management fee, which can be waived for renters who are willing to address any issues as they arise. The maximum number of residents is 4. There is no smoking in the house. We ususally do not allow pets, but we will consider pets on a case-by-case basis for an extra monthly fee.
