Welcome to Hooter Hollow, a memorable cabin offering both seclusion and a prime location in Island Park. This charming retreat provides easy access to fishing at Henrys Fork or Henrys Lake, hiking in Harriman State Park, and visiting Yellowstone, Mesa Falls, Jackson Hole, and the Grand Tetons. Bring your ATVs or rent some in town to explore hundreds of miles of trails right from the front door. After a day of adventure, feel at home as you gather around to utilize the fully stocked kitchen or propane grill to cook your favorite meals. Please note that the stairs leading to the second floor are steep and not suitable for those with mobility challenges, and there is no bathroom located on the second floor. The cabin's main level features a master bedroom with a queen bed and a private full bathroom, along with a shared full bathroom and a washer and dryer located in the master bathroom. The upper level includes a bedroom with a queen bed and a twin bed, a loft with a double over double bunk bed and two twin beds, and a sleeper sofa. Key amenities include self check-in, a propane grill, a fire pit, some outdoor seating, smart TVs, a washer and dryer, a dishwasher, and a fully stocked kitchen with a drip coffee pot, crockpot, blender, and waffle maker. A Pack-n-Play is also available, though guests are encouraged to bring their own linens. The cabin offers a large driveway for parking needs. However, there is no air conditioning, so guests are advised to utilize the blinds, ceiling and floor fans, and the crisp evening mountain air to keep the home cool. Please bring your own wood for the fire pit and additional chairs for outdoor seating if desired. Hooter Hollow is ideally situated in a mountain town, with dirt roads and potholes due to traffic and rain, and slow speed limits. It's about a 37-minute drive to the Yellowstone West Entrance, a 20-minute drive to Henry's Lake for fishing and boating, and a 17-minute drive to Island Park Reservoir. The nearest grocery store, Robins Roost, is about a 12-minute drive away. For those traveling by air, Idaho Falls Regional Airport is about a 1.5-hour drive, Bozeman Yellowstone International Airport is about a 2-hour drive, and Jackson Hole Airport is about a 2.25-hour drive. This property does not allow pets or events, with a maximum occupancy of 9 per local ordinances. There is no satellite or dish, and the wood-burning stove is not available for guest use. Sleeping bags, air mattresses, camping in RVs, or tents are not permitted. In winter, 4-wheel drive, snow tires, and high ground clearance are recommended due to snowy conditions.
This property is off market, which means it's not currently listed for sale or rent on Zillow. This may be different from what's available on other websites or public sources.
