This is a wonderful home. EVERYTHING has been done inside and out. sits on a little hill back off the street with huge, beautiful mature 100+ yr .old oak, Elm and pecan trees. It looks more like a park in the front of the house than a front lawn. peaceful. shaded. there are many perfect places to hang your hammock and read a book. The front porch was enlarged in 2018 and a new set of steps and railing built. I love to read on my porch swing. I put in a paver walkway most of the way around the house. I love this park. hiking trails from easy beginner to advanced, waterfalls, caves, boating, bird watching, camping, fishing and cabins to rent. they have a really nice lodge there with a great view and restaurant. 50 miles to Mt. Magazine state park another really nice park. 75 miles to Hot Springs. this place you HAVE to go to! historic bath houses, shops, observation tower, gangster museum, huge lake, great shopping and food. 65 miles to Ft. Smith and Van Buren. lots of restaurants, historic down town, flea markets, summer festivals, casinos and shopping. 70 miles to Little Rock 100 miles to Branson MO there is also Tulsa, OK. Memphis TN that are only 2 hrs or so away. Arkansas has 9,000 miles of undammed river to float, kayak, boat and fish. we have many bird watchers who come here for the migratory birds that come here. Eagles, Geese, Ducks, White storks etc. there are tons of waterfalls, trails, caves, horseback riding and a huge biker rally called beer, bikes and BBQ in Fayetteville every summer.
