Whether your dream is winter (skiing, ice skating, snowboarding), summer (cooler temperatures, golf, hiking, tennis), or autumn (Blue Ridge Parkway, foliage, football and Woolly Worm festivals), it is hard to create a more idyllic oasis than the High Country of Banner Elk / Boone / Blowing Rock.
