Unit has central AC and forced air heat. This unit is extremely sunny as it is south facing corner unit and on Lake Monona with beautiful unobstructed panoramic views of the lake. This unit features a beautiful corner balcony where you can watch both the sunrise and sunset and even 4th of July fireworks. Unit is 3 blocks from the Capitol and a short walk to State Street. Building is directly on several bus routes (1 11 12 19 and 38) and is also close enough to the square to catch any bus there. Building is also right on a bike path for easy alternative transportation. Commute to UW-Madison campus is about 10 min by bike. While the building is located in the heart of downtown it is easy to get to the beltline (Hwy) via John Nolan Drive making farther commutes by car relatively painless (you get to avoid downtown traffic). The whole building is generally occupied by quiet people (or if they aren't actually quiet the walls are incredibly sound proof). General community is graduate students young professionals and some young families. Heated underground parking is available for an additional 135/month. Up to 2 cats are allowed (15/month for one cat or 25/month for 2). No dogs per rules of rental company. Tenant pays electricity and gas. Water and sewer is included in rent. Option to sign lease for an additional year beyond sublet (base rent for renewal is 1460/month). Up to 4 individuals allowed in the 2 bedroom at no extra charge. Note that photos posted here are from rental company website and some are a bit outdated but the actual unit looks even better than the photos.
