It sits on the bluffs of the Bourbeuse River and there is always a breeze. The views are picturesque. We've owned this property since 1987 and have made many improvements throughout the years. It has been resided, changed all the windows, and has a cedar covered porch on the back and front. We gutted each room, mostly new electric, put a full bath upstairs, with seperate shower, a Jetted tub for two, and a bidet. On the first floor we have a 1/2 bath. The kitchen has real cherry wood cabinets, granite countertop and a Wolfe stove top, with grill and griddle, double wall ovens, a big pantry. In the corner, there is a little closet with a stackable washer and dryer, also a door on the floor that when opened it goes to the basement. There is also a door to the outside in the basement. It has three large bedrooms, an entry hall with the staircase going up, plenty of closets upstairs. On the first floor, a large dining room, a living room with a red Vermont Casting wood burning stove (hidden fans to the other areas of the house to even out the heat from it.) The barn is metal and built sometime in the 1990's. It is huge and has a large area for tractor and implements, a tack room and 6 horse stalls. we have a 5 acre lake stocked with fish, a small watering pond closer to the barn and no climb fencing closer to the barn, too. An electric waterer in the barnyard and a big electric waterer 1200 feet down in the field. There is a large garden, a small orchard and vineyard, that has not been cared for much, but could ne productive if time is dedicated. The farm is 55 minutes from St Louis.
