I am relocating to Miami, FL but unfortunately I cannot take my apartment with me :)The apartment is located on the second floor of a charming brick building near the corner of S. Hamilton and Wilson streets. There are only two other tenants living downstairs, meaning your apartment will span the entire 2nd floor of the building. Because the building only has 2 floors, you will have no upstairs neighbors (which means a quiet apartment). This is a true downtown apartment, since it is within walking distance to places like The Tornado Room, The Frequency, Madison Public Library, and pretty much anything else on the square. It's really a perfect place for graduate students or even working professionals given it's proximity to downtown. Some details about the apartment:--2 entrances (one in the front of the house facing the street, and the other back entrance leading to the parking lot)--2 big bedrooms (both the same size, and each can comfortably fit a queen-sized bed)--1 small office space adjacent to the living room, but can be separated by a pocket door--A sitting room off the living room too! Tons of space!--Several closets located throughout the apartment--Separate dining room (easily fits my 7+ foot dining room table that seats 8)--Big kitchen with a gas stove--Bathroom has a tub and nice tile work--Enclosed patio off the back entrance (really nice in the spring)--Separate storage space in the basement--A small garden plot downstairsParking is available, although not included in the monthly rent ($50 per month, but it's located in a paved and well maintained lot directly behind the apartment; parking is assigned so you are always guaranteed the same space). The lease would run January 1, 2015 thru August 14, 2015 BUT I have already paid the month of December, so you could move in as early as December 15, 2014 (and not have to pay for those extra 15 days :) The place isn't currently rented for next year, either.Monthly rent is $1250, and water is included in the rent. Although you have to pay for utilities, it averages about $125 during the coldest months (and I've found it nice to be able to control my own warmth level). The landlord is an amazing guy--he's a family man and lives in town, making him super responsive. Thanks for looking.Landlord pays for water and snow removal. Tenants pay for all other utilities (averages $115 per month). Parking is available in a designated lot with an assigned parking space for $50 per month.
This property is off market, which means it's not currently listed for sale or rent on Zillow. This may be different from what's available on other websites or public sources.
