The bus lines that are directly accessible include: UCB, PHD, PRO, PRB, & TOM (during weekends/evenings). The TOM line during the day is accessible via the stop on Toms Creek Rd. & is a ~7 min. walk. Additionally, access to the Smart Way Express & Commuter (for service around the NRV & to/from Roanoke) are available either by walking or via connections from the listed bus lines. The north end of campus & the N. Main St. strip area are ~15-20 min. walk. For parking, free parking is available along the roads (though this is rather limited) and a parking pass can be acquired to park on the off-street lots for a one-time fee of $50. Due to the current pandemic, a video-tour can be accommodated & in-person tours can only be offered to those who are seriously considering this unit with appropriate personal protective equipment (i.e. face masks & gloves) & proper social-distancing techniques.
