The calm bay is perfect for paddle boarding or kayaking and then there's 7 miles of big lake to explore in a motorboat. Access to the boundary waters is north through Gunflint Narrows and across Magnetic Lake with wilderness hiking on the nearby Border Route trail; and miles of groomed trails for skiing, skating and snowmobiling in the winter if the wilderness is calling you. When you want some pampering and socializing, there are numerous lodges on the lake, with one of them a short walk away. Possible build sites along the bluff-top with potential views south over the big part of the lake or north overlooking the bay. Power and broadband are available right at the property's edge. The winter cold is tempered by the tall pines along the blufftop and the southern exposure of the ledgerock slope. There are two drop offs to the lake shore. Visitors hike to the shoreline at their own risk. Wear sturdy shoes. The water is clear and there is a nice drop off when you are ready to install a dock.
