The whole home has views of the lake but the higher you go the better. However, both lots in front of us have plans to build, the trees on one lot should be cleared soon, the other next year. So not long from now this will have one of the best views on the lake. Solid hardwood floors throughout main areas with carpet in the kids bedrooms. The kitchen is a mix between commercial and residential style with a stainless steel cooking area and a beautiful large bamboo island counter top. High end appliances including a Viking induction cooktop and Thermador double ovens. There is very little wasted hallway space in this home and the master bedroom is spacious with a nice soaking tub and walk in closet. Having worked for years as an interior design/architecture photographer, a lot of design principles and understanding of lighting went into the design of this home. It's hard to find curb-appeal like this for this price, especially with a lake view. Very secluded feel, yet right in town. Similar homes on this street typically airbnb for around $800/night in the summer, and they stay full. This was supposed to be our dream home and had no intention of selling, but plans change. We listed this home with a flat fee brokerage and a low but negotiable commission for buyer agents. Because of the low commission, we have found out that A LOT of realtors have been stearing their clients away from this home. Sad as it is, that is the reality, realtors are in this for the money, and that is more important than their clients (for a lot of realtors anyhow). So if you had prior interest in this home and were told some reason by a realtor that you shouldn't consider it, believe me, you should consider it.
