From previous owner: This is an earth contact home remodel project I started almost 2 years ago while I was a superintendent for a custom home builder in KC. I did all the major structural remodel work that follows: Removed and replaced 200+ ft of exterior drainage system; repaired, replaced, and supported foundation per structural engineers recommendations (structural engineers report is available); removed above ground 250 gallon propane tank, and added buried 500 gallon tank (new furnace is propane back up); added electrical conduit from the house to the transformer so KCPL can run main electrical to house underground; removed and replaced ground rough plumbing and all above ground plumbing; installed new energy efficient AC unit and furnace, and all new duct work... and it's on a zone system so you can heat and cool the 1st floor and basement separately... this obviously comes in handy having a naturally cool earth contact basement. I reframed the basement, but that's where I stopped. This will allow changes to be made if you do not like the current layout. Due to a career move, I am needing to relocate. This is why I'm unable to finish my remodel project. Looking for the right person to take over where I left off. It's obviously an "as is" sale, but once you actually see everything I've done, you'll see I've tackled the hardest stuff already. The 1st floor was 3 bedroom 1 bath, but they turned 2 rooms into 1 master before I bought it. Once the basement is finished, which it's not far from, there will be an additional bedroom and bathroom. This is a fantastic opportunity to own acreage in the county with with an Independence mailing address, Fort Osage schools and just blocks from Blue Springs. This corner lot is located near the William Landahl Park Reserve which includes a #2 rated mountain bike trail, Boy Scout Camp and archery range.
This property is off market, which means it's not currently listed for sale or rent on Zillow. This may be different from what's available on other websites or public sources.
