The area in Venice is not only gorgeous but the folks that spend their time here annually are a joy to get along with. You can safely bike ride from here to Sarasota and back. The weather in the winter months is next to perfection and th e crime rate is near 0. You can get to the beach in 10 minutes and there are more fantastic restaurants within a 15 minute drive than anywhere we have ever lived. It is definitely the land that time forgot. My wife and I are only leasing due to our responsibility to our parents who we currently care for up North. If you've been here before then you know how wonderful it is.
