A quick commute into the heart of DC and NoVA by metro, bus, car, and bike. -14 foot ceiling downstairs, 11 foot ceiling upstairs. Huge windows with lots of light. The house feels incredibly spacious and inviting. -2 off street parking spaces. This space can also be used for storage. -Beautiful outside patio in the backyard, perfect for grilling, potted plants, and enjoying the nice weather. -10 minute walk to Anacostia's great restaurants and amenities (Busboys & Poets, Caribbean Citations, Mama's Pizza, Anacostia Arts Center!). -10 minute walk to Anacostia Park and the Anacostia Riverwalk Trail for amazing biking, running, and dog walking access. -2 minute walk to the Frederick Douglass House museum, a national historic site, and 1 minute walk to the nearest corner store. Anacostia is a wonderful neighborhood and is changing rapidly, with lots of new infrastructure and amenities in construction and on the way. Take a stroll down Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard and you'll see all the new arrivals and construction underway. It's an exciting time to live here! A few more administrative and informational items: -In addition to the all new appliances in unit, a comprehensive Ring security system will be provided with 2 cameras, motion sensors, and an alarm base station. -There will be a one-time pet fee of $450 in case the tenant has cats. This will be used to clean the ducts and HVAC system after the rental period to take care of dander and pet hair. Note: Absolutely no subletting or occupancy beyond the lease terms will be permitted.
