Rent the main home on a peaceful and spacious outdoor property with the choice to earn a rent rebates / income as caretaker for the yard and our smaller bungalow, which sits towards the front of the lot. The main house is older home, but has all the basics (new dishwasher, new fridge, washer/dryer hookup, and forced air oil heat) and a wonderful peaceful yard. Please note that appliances have been updated since the photos were taken , and hardwood flooring will be installed throughout the house prior to move in. There is a large storage shed behind the home for tenant's use, where lawn equipment, bikes, and such can be stored. A large unfinished basement has plenty of storage as well as a workshop space if you are handy. We are pet friendly as well! As far as caretaking is concerned, we are looking for someone who is comfortable mowing (it's a relatively large area), doing as needed snow removal, and generally keeping an eye on things. We use the smaller bungalow on the property for ourselves and Airbnb, and are looking for someone who is also comfortable doing airbnb turnovers. We are asking $1400 a month for rent, and a separate caretaker contract that would lay out what we would pay for caretaker jobs as needed (mowing, snow, airbnb, etc). Term of the lease is negotiable with a minimum six month term preferred. Earliest availability for move in is currently mid-July but subject to change.
