The family who built our home spent many vacations in Italy, where they eventuall commissioned an Italian architect to draw up the plans specifically for this site. The exterior walls are 18" thick, with a double layer of brick covered by real masonry stucco. The plaster fireplace mantle and the light fixtures were hand-crafted in Italy and shipped to Portsmouth for installation. Main floor ceilings are 11'6" high, while the second floor ceilings are 9' high. All bathrooms have been updated in the last three years using carrara marble and/or limestone and the kitchen was completely remodeled in 2018 and include high end appliances with an induction cooktop. Kitchen finishes include stone countertops and marble flooring with an inlayed hand-painted mosaic feature.
