Situated on 40 acres approximately 10 miles southeast of Colorado Springs, this 940 sq ft, 2 bedroom 1 bath home was the original homestead for the area. The home has undergone extensive renovations and is quite comfortable and accommodating - including an approx 1/3 acre fenced backyard for your furry friends to run, enjoy a campfire or just enjoy the sunset in the porch swing out the back door. If the only noise you want to hear after a long shift is the resident pair of owls, this is your place. The home is 10 to 15 miles from all major hospitals in Colorado Springs as well as Peterson and Schriver AFB. Mostly highway travel to get anywhere in the city. Absolutely no smoking - indoors or out. There will be a $400 cleaning fee applied should we find out that smoking has occurred (non-negotiable). Rent includes utilities - water, propane, septic and electricity in the monthly rental price. Internet service is not provided. Pets are welcome but must be contained to the house and assigned fenced yard. Resident owners and their livestock are on site. If your animal escapes containment, injures/kills or harasses a neighboring livestock animal, the current market value of the animal(s) will be deducted from your deposit. There is an additional $200 pet deposit (non-refundable). Two vehicles are allowed. There is ample parking in front of and to the side of the home. However, access to the garage must not be blocked. There are several outbuildings, sheds, garages and another house on the property - all of which are off-limits and not included in the rental agreement. Visitors and guests that stay for more than any 7 seven nights during the rental term must be screened and approved by the landlords. Each adult over the age of 18 applying for occupancy in the residence must complete this screening process before approval.
