The Sloan's Lake Neighborhood is comprised of vintage homes and new homes alike. There is a nice blend of architecture in the community. The grounding force of the community is Sloan's Lake, which is less than 1 minute from the front door of 2105 Perry. This is a great area to walk, ride bikes, roller blade, and meet your neighbors. The community is friendly and diverse. Schools are Brown Elementary School, which is now an IB school and very much desired by residents. It feeds into Lake Middle School, which is also now an IB school. These are superb improvements for the area in the last 5 years. Real Estate values have always held steady here, what we are now finding is that families are staying here in the area and that is a welcomed site. It's great to see kids and seniors in the same neighborhood. The trees are mature and the area is quiet. It is centrally located - only 5 minutes to the city, 25 minutes to the DTC, and easy to hop on the highway to go west for a getaway! There are a number of great services nearby, truly no need to ever leave the neighborhood if you didn't want to. On the same token, it's easy to get anywhere from this location. It's a great place to live!
