This was built before the civil war out of old heart redwood with sierra nevada red fir flooring and handcut nails in the italianate style. The materials used to build it are now no longer available. It is a state landmark and was originally a general store. Though the rooms are smallish by today’s standards, you don’t notice it because of the 12’ ceilings. It has two granny units each with full baths and kitchens which we rent out. We did a full renovation in 2011 and installed new plumbing and wiring throughout.
