This is one of the first Sears kit houses, c. 1915; it still has the original woodwork; two decorative fireplaces (not working) with Rookwood tile and a huge deck, added in the late 1990's. Georgetown is a village of 4400 with many historic features, including the 1820 Brown County courthouse, 19th C. Historic district, and two U.S. Grant sites, the boyhood home and the Grant schoolhouse.
