The Russell Bottoms Oxbow is an anomaly that doesn't come around often. Having the ability to farm, hunt, and fish really makes this place a jewel. Located just off the banks of the White River and bordering a WMA, it is along one of the most revered flyways in Arkansas. To the south of this property lies the famous White Oaks Duck Woods, Hurricane Lake WMA, Bald Knob NWR, and Cache River NWR to the east. Of the 200 acres, roughly 120 of it is tillable. It goes without being said, and seen in the videos and pictures, that the ducks love this place. While the White River bottoms are regarded as some of the best duck hunting, they are also known to produce some of the largest whitetail bucks harvested in the state. With lots of open areas to observe, setting up a stand to hunt for one of those bucks will certainly reap rewards.
