Zillow has under-estimated the value of the home by not including the cost of the lot ($160,000), and the cost of the swimming pool, decking and landscaping ($60,000). Zillow relied exclusively on the price the builder charged me to build the house itself. Zillow obtained that value from public records, but failed to add the additional costs, which were substantial.
