This building was originally built as a commercial shop. It is free standing, not attached to other buildings. It was officially converted to a live/work space about 5 years ago. The floor is concrete with an epoxy surface (building code requirement). This space is very adaptable to all kinds of uses; purely living, live and work, art studio, etc. The forced air furnace heats it very quickly. The frosted skylights bathe both rooms in soft, diffused light. The 8'H pair of French doors are spectacular in their own right, and lend a gracious quality to the space whether open or closed. The lighting was recently all replaced with LED fixtures. The wooden library ladder in the front room can be taken out if needed. All the kitchen amenities are in great shape with a gas range with self cleaning oven, granite counters, and fridge all just a couple years old. I live in a separate building in the back. 1 year lease is optional. No smoking on the property. Sometimes it's difficult to find parking on the street. I have a 3 car wide driveway where you can park if there's nothing available on our block. If you have an EV, you can park inside the main gate when you're charging it. We'll have to figure out how to charge you for the electricity when the time comes. You're responsible for raking and/or sweeping your entryway and sidewalk.
