The floor is concrete with an epoxy surface (building code requirement). This space is very adaptable to all kinds of uses; purely living, live and work, art studio, etc. The forced air furnace heats it very quickly. The frosted skylights bathe both rooms in soft, diffused light. The 8'H pair of French doors are spectacular in their own right, and lend a gracious quality to the space whether open or closed. The lighting was recently all replaced with LED fixtures. The wooden library ladder in the front room can be taken out if needed.
