My wife and I recently purchased a home and are looking to sublease our apartment. Available starting 3/01/2026 with the lease ending 7/31/2026. We'll be paying rent and a mortgage through that entire period, so we're looking for people who can take over the lease as close to March as possible. It doesn't have to be all of it, but the more the better. The rental is through the ASU4Rent company in the Cedar Creek building, and there is an option to resign and extend the lease another year through them. The unit is a top floor corner unit with a great view of Winkler Creek and the Boone community garden. - Rent is $1,154 a month if paid on or before the 1st, $1,270 if not. - Water, septic, and trash pickup are included in rent, internet and electric are not. Electric is through New River Light & Power and is usually between $40-$100 a month. Spectrum, AT&T, and SkyLine/SkyBest are all options for internet providers. - Pets are allowed with a doctors note or therapist note stating they're a therapy or service animal, but they must go through an application process with the rental company. - Smoking is allowed. - There is a building parking lot which requires a parking pass for each vehicle. Parking is $400 a year and paid in August, but we have one parking pass we can transfer over. - The unit has baseboard heat and no AC. Window AC units have been great for us. We have one we can leave for free if interested. - Laundry is available on site in a shared coin operated laundry room.
