The kitchen has a professional stove, farmhouse sink and soapstone counters. The property is landscaped with exotic trees and ancient stone walls, and the pool is furnished with teak steamer lounge chairs. It is 1.5 hrs from Grand Central Station by train (Redding Station just up the road, or a 15 min. drive to Brewster Station) and 1 hour 10 minutes by car to Manhattan. 10 min. drive to large Supermarkets, entertainment, and restaurants in Ridgefield, Wilton, Bethel, Danbury. The house sits across from a sheep meadow and abuts - both in the front and back, hundreds of acres of wildlife preserve with fields and hiking trails.
