Furnace and Air Source Heat Pump (installed 2009), make this home VERY efficient to run. Call the utilities if you want to know the monthly averages. The heat pump unit is hooked up to a special program with the electric company where June – September it receives ½ on the power it uses. The heat pump also provides heat most of the year, and does it cheaper than through burning natural gas. Its efficiency goes away once the temperature drops below 20°, which is when the efficient furnace kicks in. The system is also paired with a whole house humidifier, along with new spray foam insulation makes this home efficient and cozy in the winter. Great lengths taken to ensure the bathroom is watertight, gorgeous tiled floors & shower, high-end fixtures and quiet Panasonic fan was installed Upstairs bath renovated 2013 – same details as downstairs bath. Upstairs windows and sliding glass door in family room replaced in 2007, rest of the windows replaced in the last 18 months. All the new windows are Anderson, except by the kitchen sink, only Marvin produced the window in that dimensions with the type of opening we wanted. The smaller egress windows in the utility room and bar were also replaced with the large glass block type of window. Feel free to talk to any of the neighbors outside, and look at the neighborhood pride. Everybody watches out for each other, and the neighborhood is very active in the National Night Out program.
