It has a full-size kitchen with modern appliances, a small nook for a dining area, a living room/bedroom, and a good-size bathroom with a shower. The boathouse, 240 sq. ft., is located on the dock next to the cabin. It has a small bathroom with an incinerating toilet. No shower. It can be rented with the furniture that has been built for it. There are several options for your ideal home layout. If you work from home, you can set up the boathouse as a beautiful, private office on the water and use the studio as your bedroom. Another option that previous tenants preferred was to set up a bedroom in the boathouse, enjoying living room space in the studio. The cabin and the boathouse each have a wood-burning stove. Both also have electric heaters. There is a large shaded patio between the cabin and the boathouse. Heavenly cool in a hot summer. The cabin is located across the lawn from the main residence. Parking is available for 2 cars. Private and quiet, except for the occasional barking of our miniature poodles. Our 5-year tenants moved on to their next adventure.
