One of the most unique buildings in Nashville, Werthan Mills has been a part of Nashville's cityscape for over 100 years. In the early 1900's Werthan Bag Company operated an integrated process in which bales of raw cotton were received by the mill, spun into yarn, and woven into cloth or twisted into sewing thread. Today the building is known as The Lofts at Werthan Mills.
