Classic Bel-Air Mid Century home built in 1961. Reminiscent of Neutra's Kaufmann House. The pattern & spirit of the house is an indoor/outdoor design with a minimalist aesthetic. Original white terrazzo floors installed by Arcadian Flooring formalize the central area for family living, dining & entertaining. Large Fleetwood sliding-glass doors open up to a boulder laden spray pool & sunbathing deck. Dual fireplaces warm the living room & den/bar area. The exterior shell consists of stucco & glass with wood eves at the roof line. The roof is flat & covered in white, heat reflecting & heat penetration retarding gravel. The Master Bedroom opens to its own patio overlooking the pool & garden. There is a formal dining room with a period chandelier. The extensive remodel was executed with the research & guidance of Central Office of Architecture (COA). The remodeled Kitchen & Bathrooms were designed by Karen Harautuneian of Hub of the House. The custom bar was designed by the owners.
