Very solid, energy efficient construction, concrete block and stucco, built in 2003, on a quiet hilltop neighborhood in Central Florida. The house is near the very top of the neighborhood, on a prime lot, 177 feet above sea level. We are in an unincorporated area south of Old Clermont (founded in 1884) in South Lake County. Neighborhood Description Overall, the neighborhood has the look of a well-groomed, stucco, Italian hillside village. It is a quiet, peaceful neighborhood with friendly people; a mix of retirees, middle age, and young families with children. There is one entrance/exit from Lake Louisa Road. It is like a gated community but there is no need for a gate. The Lake Louisa Highlands Neighborhood Association owns its own newly built dock and pier. The end of the pier has a roof and a bench. It is great for fishing, watching sunsets, and makes a perfect boat launch, providing access to the Clermont Chain of Lakes. The Neighborhood Association ($400 per year) owns and maintains a large children's playground and a large common grounds for walking down to the lake or taking the dogs for a walk. Each house sits on 1/4 acre or more. There are several home designs within a similar theme, mostly one story, a few two story, on a primary street, Via Roma Circle, with a few cul-de-sac branch streets. Via Roma Circle winds its way up from the lake to the top of the hill, about 200 feet high, and then winds back down the other side of the hill. The houses are painted in lovely, calm, earth tones; color restrictions apply. The neighborhood is filled with palm trees and bluejack oaks, and great landscape scenes grace the front of many homes. A few landscape restrictions apply.
