The Victoria Lake Recreation area is comprised of some magnificent terrain for a wide variety of wildlife and exploration. Such a wide variety and 10 miles to the town of Rapid City. This cabin is completely surrounded by USFS. There are forest service roads that lead to both Pactola and Sheridan lakes which provide great fishing and motorized boating. Victoria Lake is more of a pond, but is very near the cabin and provides some angling opportunities in the lake and stream that feeds it. This is a very private get-away that is close to town where there are large cliffs, streams and high plains meadows providing magnificent habitat for deer, elk, big horn sheep, mountain lion and turkey. Some of the best single track trails for mountain biking and connection with the ATV trails that will connect you with the entire Black Hills. Be a mountain man.
