This is the top floor of a great farmhouse. It is not a separate house or apartment. Two other rooms are on the main floor, so you'll have two nice housemates. Though if you choose you can treat this like a one-bedroom apartment and keep to yourself. The top floor has its own exterior entrance (as well as the interior stairway to the main floor, deck, comfy bathroom with huge shower, tiny home theater, wet bar or efficiency kitchen, library, two lofts, pool table, beautiful views to the pond to the north and the creek to the south. Your personal space is about 30' by 30'. On the main floor is a great fireplace, nice kitchen with a commercial gas range, laundry, root cellar, dining area, loft for guests, living room, and more. The main floor is 1600 square feet or so. A pet may be okay if it is perfect (quiet, trained well, will not hurt the house) and will not bother the sheep, goats, ducks, and geese nearby. I charge 100 a month extra for a pet and usually charge 300 extra per month for a second person in the space. For the right renter I might make a bit of a discount on rent and/or there is work/trade available on the farm during the summer! I ask three months' rent as deposit if you have good credit, more if you don't. The deposit can be used as prepaid rent in most circumstances. I'm looking for a four month or sixteen month lease (ending 31 July 2022 or 31 July 2023). The place will be available between now and the 1st of April. You can see it most any afternoon.
