You will get two bedrooms (with closets in both) out of the three, have your own private bathroom with a tub, and have street parking. We are before the boardwalk, closer to Lido, so street parking in this area is more accessible than in other areas of Long Beach. We will each have our own private bathroom, so we will only share the common areas (i.e., kitchen, living room, dining room, and yard). Please note: pictures can make a place appear much larger than it is. This house, being so close to the ocean, is not large. This rental is on the top floor only of the house and does not include the downstairs. The downstairs is an entirely separate unit that is rented out separately. The downstairs unit has its own separate entrance on the side of the house. The downstairs unit does not have access to the backyard (but with one exception) or front porch. But we do share the grassy area in the backyard, as well as the outside shower. The downstairs unit gets the other side of the driveway. About Me (Your Roommate!): Female. I love to garden (I have an organic garden) and definitely have a plant addiction, so the house is regularly surrounded by flowers, herbs, fruits, and vegetables during the warmer months (see photos). I am an artist who works remotely building websites/creating SEO content, a photographer, and I am also an ice skating instructor and an ice hockey skills coach, so I stay busy. When I am not working, I am often on the beach, at the gym, or surfing. Also, please know that I am not the landlord. I will just be your roommate. Our landlord does not live on-site but is located locally. Looking for a Good Fit! I am looking for someone clean and responsible. I do not have an age range in mind, and the new tenant could be any gender. My last roommate (who recently moved out) was a male. Similar interests would be nice, but it is not necessary. Being open-minded and accepting is essential, though. If you are interested, please message me for more information. Prospective tenants will go through the landlord, who will run a credit and background check. Employment will also need to be verified. Your annual salary must be 40x the rent for approval.
