UPSTAIRS: Throughout the upstairs there is custom clear alder wainscoting in mission style and red oak flooring. Beautiful custom oak window seats are along the front and back windows. The staircase has all custom oak railings. And the library has a dramatic custom bookshelf spanning an entire wall. All the doors are custom oak in mission style. None of the woodwork is sanded or stained nor are the doors (clear alder was chosen despite its expense because of how it takes any stain). The fireplace is unfinished.
