Our unit has a rare grandfathered short term rental license as well. The unit has two bedrooms and one bath, a family room, a well equipped kitchen and two large incredible porches. The family room, master bedroom and front porch have breathtaking views from the second floor location which allows superior views and excellent privacy. There are comfortable Adirondack chairs out on the dune for gatherings to watch sunsets. While no structure is immune to hurricanes, the massive fort next door and on the eastward side has provided excellent protection over the years for the cottage. Also, our cottage is listed in National Register of Historic Places as part of historic Moultrieville. Our unit now has sheetrock covering most walls and ceilings but original beaded board is still in place underneath on all walls and ceilings. Private storage area under the stairs is a great place for bikes and beach chairs. HOA fees include all fire, wind, hail, liability and flood insurance payments as well as water, sewer and landscaping. Property includes beautiful formal garden.
