Yellow Poplar log cabin originally built in 1815. My wife and I brought the logs to Kingston Springs from South Side, TN and rebuilt the cabin using as much of the original hand hewed lumber as possible. The rock chimney is the original cut limestone chimney. We tore it down and moved it too. My wife and I spent 3 years building the 1680 sq. ft. cabin. We moved in September 1986. We've lived here ever since. We are presently working on a 580 square foot family room on the rear making a total of 2260 square feet. The new family room will have a small loft and one large walk-in closet that is already pre-plumbed for a third full bath if ever needed.
